I’m passionate about how my process can lead to more considered outcomes.
Hi, I’m Ankit, a user-centered designer with a hybrid skill-set of design and engineering. My mixed skill-set enables me to think about products from inception to production.
How i got here
I have always been interested in how humans interact with the world. It’s been part of my hobby as well as part of my work life. I am eager to identify processes that can improve things for human beings. I also happen to have a very analytical and systematic approach to solving problems.
When I was pursuing my Bachelor's in engineering from University of Pune, I wanted to build products and tools which would directly affect how people interact with technology.
With that mission, I worked as a software engineer for 2 years for a travel tech company. While working there, I started out with a short stint in the API team and extensively interacted with front-end and product teams. Eager to learn more I switched to the product team and finally realized my passion— Product and Systems design. Since then, I immersed myself in learning about user-centered design.
In 2016, I completed my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from University of Washington.
